What's in a Pint Glass?!

On the desk in front of me are different types of pint glasses, the tulip, as already branded by Cross Bay and a conical glass, as preferred by quite a few breweries it seems.  The question, which is better...and which is better for Cross Bay Brewery?!

The question has been posed to members of our local CAMRA and followers on our Facebook and responses have been fairly mixed.

Conical

Easier to hold without touching where lips make contact.
Don't stack well
Look cheap
More masculine
Aesthetically pleasing

Tulip

Smaller head
Look more premium
In the office, we note that carrying multiple glasses is harder than carrying tulips.

Feeling Festive

It's the 1st of December and we've brought some festivities to our website with our beer baubles and Christmas tree, which Peter and Laura designed together recently.  We hope this makes you feel Christmassy.

Sneak preview here:

Cross Bay Team at Food & Drink Festival

Food & Drink Festival, Morecambe Football Club, Friday 25th November

The Cross Bay Team took the three permanent ales; Sunset, Dusk and Nightfall, along with the current seasonal ale Aurora to the Food and Drink Festival organised by the Wine Yard & Deli last Friday.  Guests were given the opportunity to taste the handcrafted ales, meet the brewers and find out more about the brewery.

A brand new, 'Brewer's Choice' ale was available and samplers were encouraged to vote on whether they 'Liked, 'Disliked' it or thought it was 'Okay'.  Brewer's Choice was a success, no one disliked the beer and only 7 thought it was just okay!  Result!
